Wingate by Wyndham Hotel in Miramar Completes Renovations

MIRAMAR, FL ~ November, 2007 - The launch of the new Wingate brand affiliation coupled with the completion of a $1,000,000 renovation and improvement undertaking is set for mid-December. The Miramar hotel is managed by Hospitality America, Inc. which operates five hotel properties in South Florida.

    It is the first Wingate by Wyndham in the nation, and the first hotel of any kind in the southwest Broward County, to install a 32” LCD flat panel HD television with High Definition channels as a standard feature in all guest rooms. Free wired and wireless high-speed Internet access and cordless telephones are also offered in each guestroom.

    The hotel offers a fresh, contemporary feel with high-end furnishings, appointments and amenities. The renovation is more than just a pretty face, according to Howard Wolfson, regional manager. “The renovation allowed us to include some features that are especially important for business travelers. An expanded business center with free fax, printing and copies, an on-site convenience store, an expanded fitness center, and a new outdoor whirlpool are available to each guest. An oversized desk in each room makes it easy to spread out papers and work in a relaxed, efficient setting.”

    The recent acquisition of the Wingate brand by the Wyndham Hotel Group has created a rising star among hospitality brands in the upper-mid market hotel niche. The addition of 154 Wingate hotels nationwide complements the Wyndham’s 82 major urban and resort area market locations. The affiliation allows the Wingate brand to adopt the Wyndham One-to-One training program, which focuses on personalization and 100% guaranteed guest satisfaction.

    The Miramar Wingate by Wyndham property is located off I-75 at exit 7A, in the Huntington Corporate Park, near the Miramar Park of Commerce, Pembroke Pines, and Miami Lakes.
